Jenaae has been a beauty queen since she was younger and has won the Miss Teen Florida Caribbean 2005 contest, representing Jamaica. |

August 27, 2009. Natalia Quinones Perez, 23 years old, from Jalisco will represent Mexico at the 2009 Miss Earth pageant this November. The new Miss Earth Mexico was crowned at Siglo XXI Convention Center in Yucatan. Siri Mazari Lizarraga of Morelos, Pamela Olivas Chaparro of Chihuahua and Jessica Cecilia Formenti Canseco of Baja California Sur were the runners-up. |

| MISS UNIVERSE 2009 |

August 23, 2009. Venezuela made a back-to-back Miss Universe wins after Stefania Fernandez triumphed as Miss Universe 2009 in Atlantis Paradise Resort in the Bahamas. The runners-up were Ada de la Cruz of the Dominican Republic (1st), Marigona Dragusha of Kosovo (2nd), Rachael Finch of Australia (3rd) and Mayra Matos of Puerto Rico (4th).
The finalists for this year were Iveta Lutovska of Czech Republic, Kristen Dalton of the USA, Whitney Toyloy of Switzerland, Chloe Mortaud of France and Tatum Keshwar of South Africa.
Ingibjörg Ragnheiður Egilsdóttir of Iceland, Zeynep Sever of Belgium, Renate Cerljen of Sweden, Hasna Xhukici of Albania and Sarah Cosic of Croatia made it as semi-finalists. |

Dominique Dyer is Miss Earth Wales, Kayleigh O'Reilly is Miss Earth Northern Ireland, Kirsty Nichol is Miss Earth England and Sarah Finlay is Miss Earth Scotland. They were crowned at the Royal Leamington Spa in Warwickshire, England. |

August 22, 2009. Lateesha Ector, of Trinidadian parents of Black, Chinese, Scottish and Venezuelan background, was crowned as the 1st black Miss Earth Canada titleholder at Les Cours Mont-Royal. The twenty-three year-old beauty from Pierrefonds, Quebec has recently earned a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Concordia University and is currently working for Air Canada. She will represent Canada at Miss Earh 2009 in the Philippines on the 8th of November. |

August 22, 2009. Twenty-year-old Kerrie Baylis walked away with lucrative prizes and the mandate to represent Jamaica at the Miss World competition in South Africa later this year. Kiri-Ann Bridgewater became the 1st runner-up while Stephanie Hazle placed as the 2nd runner-up.

August 17, 2009. Twenty-one year old Daniela Ramos Lalinde from Bogota was crowned Miss Mundo Colombia 2009 during the finale of the coronation held at Palacio de los Deportes in Bogota. She will represent Colombia in Miss World 2009 in South Africa this year. Kimberly Reyes from Atlantico became the Virreina (1st runner-up), while Katlin Arias Joiro of Sucre was the Princesa (2nd runner-up). |

August 16, 2009. 21 year old Nasara Mariam Abdul Rauf emerged as the winner in the TV reality beauty pageant Ghana's Most Beautiful. The Zenith University College student was crowned at the National Theater. Ghana's Most Beautiful is also the national pageant for Miss Earth. She will be representing Ghana in the 9th edition of the international pageant.

August 15, 2009. Lula Gezu Weldegebriel, a twenty year-old model and student, won thhe 2009 Miss World Ethiopia beauty pageant in Adis Abeba. Lula will represent her country in South Africa on December for the Miss World finals. She has has recently participated in the Face of Africa contest.

August 15, 2009. Marijana Pokrajac was crowned Miss Montenegro 2009 and will represent her country at the 2009 Miss World finals in South Africa. The 22 year-old beauty won the title during the national pageant held in Plavnica -suburb of Podgorica. Nikolina Loncar was the 1st runner-up, while Nina Vukanovic became the 2nd runner-up.
